Anthony Grant is a former writer with TripSavvy. A native of Southern California, he first visited Israel when he was 3 years old with his parents who had previously lived in Turkey. Since then, he has lived and labored in Moscow, Montreal, Paris, and Manhattan and moved to Tel Aviv in 2010. While living in Israel, he continued to write about travel and news in the country and was a commentator at an Israeli television station.

Anthony has written about travel for a variety of publications, including the Los Angeles Times, Delta Sky Magazine, The Washington Post, and The New York Times. He worked on an early version of The Atlantic's website and served as senior editor of Forbes Traveler, where he worked under former Playboy editor Barry Golson. 

The author of "Frommer's Israel," Anthony also co-wrote the prize-winning guidebook, "The Rough Guide to Boston."

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Master of Arts in International Relations, both from Boston University.
