Sometimes you're on a late flight from another city and you arrive in Albuquerque needing something to eat before getting to your hotel. Or maybe you're out for a late night and you want a bite. Albuquerque has some options for late night dining, from chain restaurants to small, local places.
Cesar's

Cesar's has both Mexican and Greek dishes and the drive-thru window is open 24 hours. The local after-hours favorite is on the corner of Lomas and San Mateo in midtown. You can get beef tacos, fish, and chips, chorizo or a hummus plate. Gyros, fish tacos, chile rellenos and tostadas can be mixed or matched. For dessert, get baklava or churros. Their gyro and carne asada burrito are favorites. Cesar's is closed Sundays.
Del Taco

Del Taco is a national chain similar to Taco Bell. Two of their Albuquerque locations have drive-thru windows that are open 24 hours. One is in midtown and the other in the northeast heights. They offer nachos, burritos, tacos, sides and salads in a fast food environment.
Denny's

Denny's is open 24 hours for sit down dining at three Albuquerque locations. Denny's menu features breakfast items, lunch sandwiches, dinner items that include fish and chips, skillet chicken and a value menu. Denny's has a 55+ menu and rotating specials.
Dunkin Donuts

Three of Albuquerque's four Dunkin Donuts shops are open 24 hours. They offer donuts, breakfast sandwiches and bakery sandwiches such as chicken salad and ham and cheese. There is even a steak breakfast burrito on the menu.
Federico's
Federico's has a 24-hour drive-thru where you can pick up enchiladas, burritos, tacos, breakfast and combination plates.
Filiberto's
Filiberto's is a well known southwestern Mexican chain that has several locations in town. Two have drive-thru windows open 24 hours. Filiberto's has tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas and the like. Some local favorites are the carne asada fries and carne asada burrito.
IHOP

Albuquerque has three IHOP locations that are open 24 hours. Their menu features an extensive breakfast list, as well as sandwiches, soups, salads and dinner classics such as roasted turkey and country fried steak. IHOP also has a healthier simple and fit menu. And because it is the International House of Pancakes, they have plenty of pancakes.
Subway at UNM Hospital
For anyone who has ever had to spend overnight time at the UNM Hospital, the Subway is open 24 hours. They offer sandwiches, salads and breakfast sandwiches. They offer heart-healthy meals. The hospital is located on the north UNM campus, near Lomas and University.
Taco Cabana
Taco Cabana has Mexican food 24 hours a day at several of its restaurant locations. They offer tacos, cabana plates, fajitas, breakfast items, nachos and burritos.
Village Inn
Village Inn is open 24 hours, serving up specialties such as pies, soup of the day,and breakfast anytime. All three Village Inns are located near major freeway interchanges and one is by the airport.
